SPRING-BASED RESISTANCE TRAINING

  • Springs are elastic objects which store and release energy. The more that spring is stretched, the more of an opposing force, or tension, there will be.

    The Megaformer is equipped with a front and back platform, moving carriage, cables, and straps, to allow for pushing, pulling, and stabilizing movements.

  • At the front of the machine, you are pushing tension out, as the resistance supports your body. At the back of the machine, you are pulling tension as the springs work against your body with counter-resistance.

    The Megaformer’s spring resistance does not rely on gravity, therefore training your body to utilize its muscles instead of momentum to create stronger, longer, leaner, and toned muscles.
